Conditions were challenging this time. The fish were not very active: they occasionally showed on the surface and took cautiously, but converting those takes was difficult. On days like this, choosing the right fly, presenting it accurately and staying patient matter most.

Despite the slow activity, we did not leave empty-handed. We managed to land several beautiful wild trout, and every take was a real pleasure. Days like this show best why fly fishing is not only about the result, but also about the process: reading the river, observing the fish and finding the right approach.
